What every man and woman should know about breast cancer.
Did you know breast cancer is a largely preventable disease?
Did you know Many foods and lifestyle choices typical apart of the American culture significantly contribute to the induction and growth of breast cancer?Â
Did you know there are many nonpharmaceutical. nonsurgical, research-proven approaches that can dramatically lower the risk of breast cancer and aid in its recovery?
The risk of breast cancer can be dramatically reduced naturally. In rural India, the incidence of breast cancer is 8/100,000. In the U.S., white women have an incidence of 140/100,000. Through adopting a lifestyle and dietary habits that have been shown to protect against breast cancer, it is possible that the incidence of breast cancer in this country could drop as low as that found in rural India. Certain herbs, vitamins, and nutritional supplements have been shown to have dramatic protective effects as well. By taking these supplements, in addition to protective diet and lifestyle changes, it is possible that the incidence of breast cancer could become even lower.
Dr. Horner’s book,Waking the Warrior Goddess
, winner of the 2006 Independent Publisher Book Award (IPPY) “Best Book of the Year for health/nutrition/medicine”, describes all the research-proven natural approaches–foods, supplements, herbs and activities–that dramatically protect against breast cancer. Â

Christine Horner, MD is a nationally known surgeon, author, and professional speaker residing in Taos, NM. She holds two board certifications: the National Board of Surgery, and the National Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Horner was recognized as a leader in her field shortly after starting her plastic and reconstructive surgery practice because she successfully ran a national campaign to pass laws requiring insurance companies to pay for breast reconstruction following mastectomy. Her five year crusade — the Breast Reconstruction Advocacy Project or BRA Project — led to the passage of laws in thirty-five states and a federal law. The federal bill was signed into law by President Clinton on October 21, 1998. The law was unprecedented because it was the first law Congress had ever passed requiring insurance companies to pay for a specific surgical procedure. Her campaign involved several meetings with President Clinton and Hillary Clinton, Senator’s Ted Kennedy and Alfonse D’Amato, and Representatives Anna Eshoo and Sue Kelly.

Have you ever attended a motivational seminar, got all hyped up, came home with the best of intentions only to have that little voice in the back of your head remind you of all the reasons why you can’t reach that higher Purpose?
Let’s face it, if attending a seminar or reading a book could take you to a higher level, chances are you would already be there.
The problem is your mind. Your mind was taught from early childhood the phrase “You Can’tâ€. You can’t fly, You can’t win, You can’t do it. So when you try and reach your higher purpose, your mind screams “You Can’tâ€.
